Aged Care Services
Opti-Call Aged Care offer the following in-house eye health services:
Broken Glasses
Visit the facility and do a one-off visit:

- If the glasses were supplied by Opti-Call, and the frame has been broken Opti-Call (if frame available) can put the existing lens in a new frame, or
- Dispense a new frame and re-make glasses.
- If the resident has had an eye health test with Opti-Call, and they have either lost or broken their glasses, glasses can be made from the eye test on record.
- If a resident has not attended an Opti-Call clinic, and the residents frame is broken, Opti-Call can determine the prescription of the old glasses, dispense a new frame and make new glasses.
Lost Glasses
Visit the facility and do a one-off visit:

- If the resident has attended an Opti-Call eye health clinic, a new frame can be dispensed and new glasses made from the eye test on record
- If the resident has not been seen by Opti-Call, and the facility do not have a record of the resident’s last eye test, unfortunately Opti-Call cannot assist the resident
Opti-Call is a local company based in Adelaide, which serves the aged care facilities of South Australia. We currently visit many Nursing Homes, Hostels and rural hospitals for eye care and spectacle dispensing and service repairs.
All Opti-Call staff that work at an Eye Test Clinic in Aged Care Facilities have a current police clearance, and have professional documentation to comply with government requirements to work at Aged Care Facilities.
